This site is still being built

ZooBC is building in the open. What you see here is current and honest, but it is not finished: read it as where we are today, not as a final statement.

Between now and MainNet, things will change: wording, structure, images, and figures. Some pages are placeholders.

The wider ZooBC ecosystem arrives in stages. The wallet, the explorer, and the community channels each come online as MainNet approaches, and this site grows alongside them.

If something reads wrong, looks broken, or seems misleading, tell us. Feedback now is worth more to us than a polished launch later.

Additional languages will be enabled after the site is complete.

Same file. It is designed to hold on either background, so there is no separate light version.

The two gradients are the mark itself. The accent is for links and highlights; the ink is the page background across ZooBC.

Using it

  • Keep clear space around the mark of at least the height of its inner opening.
  • Do not recolour it, add a stroke, add a shadow, or place it on a busy photo.
  • Do not stretch it, scale both axes together. The SVGs scale losslessly, so reach for those before a PNG.
  • Do not rebuild the wordmark by typing "ZooBC" next to the mark in another font. Use the wordmark file.
  • Smallest sensible size for the mark is about 20 px tall; below that the inner shape closes up.

Naming

  • ZooBC, one word, capital Z, capital B, capital C. Not "Zoobc", not "ZooBc", not "Zoo BC".
  • ZBC is the coin. Amounts on-chain are in atomic units: 1 ZBC = 108.
  • Proof of Participation is the consensus mechanism, spelled out on first use, and only then abbreviated.
